Beach tennis Equipment

In Germany, beach tennis is still a sport played primarily by tennis players. Accordingly, beach tennis players - assuming they opt for the version of beachtennis using tennis racquets - do not require extensive equipment. Simply a tennis racquet, a soft (methodik) tennis ball and a beach-volleyball court is all you need to get underway.

Special racquets or bats are necessary for the version of beach tennis using a so-called paddle bat. These bats are made of hard rubber and allow for a completely different style of game to the tennis racquet version.
